Our Story
Carter Children's Cottage was started over 25 years ago by 2 sisters, Ms. Diane and Ms. Doris who took pride in and enjoyed working with children. They believed that children learn best through active, hands-on discovery type methods. They facilitated learning through a variety of ways to ensure the child’s healthy development of the whole child, physical, emotional language, intellectual and social development of cooperation. Today, this belief stands true as Ms. Diane's son and his wife have taken over for them.
